Lift the hard drive cover up at an angle and remove it from the computer (2).
10.
Disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board (1).
11.
Lift the hard drive out of the hard drive bay (2).
12.
Disconnect the hard drive cable from the hard drive (1).
13.
Remove the screws (2) that secure the protective cover to the hard drive.
