Item type and component can be repeated
As an alternative or complement to the inventory tool, the Hardware Inventory Agent can be
configured to collect specific HP WMI classes. To collect HP WMI classes, follow the SCCM
directions for adding additional classes. Select the following options:
•
On the Connect to Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) dialog, set Computer name
to a server running the latest HP Insight Management WBEM Providers, set WMI namespace
to root\hpq, select Recursive, and if required, specify the credentials.
