The printer offers a number of options for connectivity, including:

Not all options are available for all printer models.
USB
The printer connects to the computer with a USB cable. Your computer must be running
a Microsoft Windows 98, Me, 2000, and/or XP operating system to use a USB cable.

parallel
The printer can connect to your computer with a parallel cable.
The hp deskjet 6127 series printer does not offer a parallel connection. Use a
USB or a network connection.
