Gently slide the hard drive carrier out of the hard drive bay.

Remove the hard drive from the hard drive carrier:
a.
Disconnect the ZIFF connector (1) and the ribbon cable (2).
b.
Remove the 2 screws on top of the hard drive carrier (1).
