Viewing resource information

You can check status and other details related to your relationships and pairs in the following:

View license information on the Replications window.

Viewing consistency group information

You can check the number of consistency groups and the details and individual properties for
consistency groups.

View the number of consistency groups in the Summary section on the Local Replication
window.

View a list of consistency groups with status and number of pairs on the Consistency Groups
tab in the Local Replication window.

View a consistency group’s properties by clicking the CTG ID link on the Consistency Groups
tab in the Local Replication window.

Viewing relationship operations history

You can review the operations that have been performed on a relationship using the View History
window. A maximum of 1,024,000 latest operations are stored in the storage system.

Procedure 1 To view relationship operation history

1.

In the Storage Systems tree, select Replication.

2.

In the Replication window, click View Histories> Local Replication.

3.

In Copy Type, select the type of relationship you want to view.

The Description column displays the operations that were performed. The descriptions are
explained below.

When the relationship is established without specifying the CHGRECORD

relationship is established and not when the copy operation starts.

1st INCREMENTAL COPY STARTED

The second or later incremental copy has started.This message is displayed
when the relationship is established and not when the copy operation starts.

2nd or LATER INCREMENTAL COPY
STARTED

The relationship was established by the Incremental FlashCopy function in
NOCOPY mode.

1st NOCOPY RELATIONCHIP
ESTABLISHED (INCREMENTAL)

0013

The relationship initially established by the Incremental FlashCopy function
was re-established in NOCOPY mode.

2nd or LATER NOCOPY
RELATIONSHIP ESTABLISHED
(INCREMENTAL)

0014

The Reverse Restore function started a second or later incremental copy with
a relationship that was initially established by the Incremental FlashCopy
function.

2nd or LATER INCREMENTAL COPY
STARTED (REVERSE RESTORE)

This message is displayed when the relationship is re-established and not
when the copy operation starts.
