Troubleshooting with RAID Manager

To identify the cause of errors while using RAID Manager, you can use the following logs:

The following table lists the error codes for SSB1: B901, B9A8, B9A9, B9AD, B9AE, and 2E31.
For more information about the error codes that are not described in this table, contact HP Technical
Support.

Cause of error

You cannot run the command because the storage system did not perform user
authentication.

You cannot create the pair because of a shortage of pair tables.

You cannot create the pair because of a shortage of differential tables.

You cannot create the pair because the pool is not available.

You cannot create the pair because a pair using a pool ID that is different from
the specified pool ID exists in the specified P-VOL.

You cannot create the pair because another FS or SS S-VOL is using the volume
you specified as the P-VOL.

You cannot create the pair because another FS or SS P-VOL is using the volume
you specified as the S-VOL

You cannot create the pair because another FS or SS S-VOL is using the volume
you specified as the S-VOL.

You cannot create the pair because the capacity of the pair that you are trying
to create exceeds the licensed capacity.

This error can also occur when you run the command with an unsupported
parameter.

The command ends abnormally because the pair is in a status that the command

You cannot create the pair because you do not have a sufficient amount of
shared memory.

The pair cannot be restored because the volume you specified as the P-VOL has
an S-VOL Disable attribute.
