Media Card Reader

Reads data from and writes data to digital memory cards
such as Secure Digital (SD).

Power switch

When the computer is off, slide the switch to turn on
the computer.

When the computer is in the Sleep state, slide the
switch briefly to exit Sleep.

When the computer is in Hibernation, slide the switch
briefly to exit Hibernation.

CAUTION:

Sliding and holding the power switch will

result in the loss of unsaved information.

If the computer has stopped responding and Windows®
shutdown procedures are ineffective, slide and hold the
power switch for at least 5 seconds to turn off the
computer.

USB 3.0 charging port

Connects an optional USB 3.0 device and provides
enhanced USB power performance. The USB 3.0 charging
port can also charge select models of cell phones and MP3
players, even when the computer is off.

NOTE:

A USB charging port (also referred to as a

powered USB port) allows you to charge connected USB
devices. Standard USB ports will not charge all USB
devices or will charge using a low current. Some USB
devices require power and require you to use a powered
port.

RJ-45 (network) jack

Connects a network cable.

External monitor port

Connects an external VGA monitor or projector.
