Feature Settings Summary
Default settings are marked with an asterisk (*).
Option: Choice:
W HICH L ANGUAGE Choose whether the
ENGLISH* display appears in English,
FRENCH French or Spanish.
SPANISH
C ONTRAST Adjust screen lighting to
1 2 3* 4 5 a comfortable level, from
1 (light) to 5 (dark).
S ET H OME A REA C ODE If you dial seven digits
HOME AREA CODE? for calls within your own
area code, you need to
program a Home Area
Code in order to use the
Display Dial feature for
these calls.
S ET L OCAL A REA C ODE ( S ) If you dial 10 digits for
LOCL AREA CODE? calls to some area codes,
you need to program
those area codes as Local
Area Codes in order to
use the Display Dial
feature for these calls.
NOTE: You can press at any time during
feature setup to exit programming and return to
the idle screen.
Language Selection
You can select English, French or Spanish as the
language in which your Caller ID information is
displayed.
1 Press N.
2 Press - until the screen displays your language
selection.
3 Press N to save your selection and move
on to set the next feature.
