Remove Tailgate from vehicle following
procedure in step 1.
Reinstall outer cover onto the outer
frame channel of the tailgate. Install with
hardware shown.

Reinstall hardware and tighten in
original location. Ensure that
when closing tailgate for first time
that there is a gap between
outside edge of outer cover and
truck bed.
