HEAVY DUTY

ADA COMPLIANT ACCESS

RAMPS AND RAILS

WARNING!

Cross-Guard ramps and rails are compatible only

with Linebacker and Guard Dog cable protectors as

specified. Cross-Guard ramps are also compatible

with Side-Kick cable protector expanders. Improper

use with other cable protector brands may result

in product failure or injury.

1. Position as many modular interlocking lineal cable
protectors (as specified above) as required for your
particular application on firm surface.
2. Single CROSS-GUARD ADA ramps or multiple CROSS-
GUARD ADA ramps in series can be added anywhere
within the run length of the cable protection system.
3. Each CROSS-GUARD ADA ramp is connected to a lineal
cable protector with two (2) ADA ramp connectors.
4. Position an ADA ramp connector under each lineal cable
protector in four (4) locations (2 on each side of protector)
by locating the two (2) notched areas at the bottom edge
of the cable protector ramp.
5. Slightly lift the bottom ramp edge of the cable protector
at the notched location and slide the large block end of
the ADA ramp connector under the cable protector ramp
and into the corresponding block recess.
6. Position all connectors on one side of the cable
protectors in series before repeating this procedure on the
opposite side.
7. Align the top and side edge of each ADA ramp with the
top and side edge of the cable protector ramp and lower
the ADA ramp down onto the exposed male pin on the
ADA ramp connector. ADA ramps in series are also
connected to each other by the male/female 'T' connectors
molded into each ADA ramp.
8. Complete the ADA compliant installation by attaching
the side rails to the ADA ramps on each end of the single
or multiple cable protectors with ADA ramps in series.
9. Rails are attached by using the male/female 'T'
connectors molded into each ADA ramp.
10. Optional end caps can be added to the system to
provide gradual taper to the ground or floor. The end caps
connect only to the lineal cable protector and not to the
CROSS-GUARD ADA ramps.

• DO NOT use as work surface. NO CUTTING, NO
DRILLING, NO HAMMERING.
• Use with momentary loads only, DO NOT place ladders,
scaffolds, or any type of structure on the system.
• Avoid concentrated loads.
• Use only on a stable surface. Inclined surfaces, slippery
surfaces and broken ground can cause injury.
• This system can be a trip hazard to pedestrian traffic if
they are unaware of its presence.
• Keep the ADA ramps and rails clean and bright.
• Load-supporting capacity varies by type of loading
conditions and environmental conditions. The load
capacity decreases in warm environments. Test before
use and inspect periodically.
• Polyurethane is attacked by some chemicals. Always test
a small amount for chemical compatibility before using
and follow maintenance procedure.
• Vehicular traffic must pass over this system slowly and
with caution.
• Test installation for intended use.
• Periodically inspect installation.

• Store in a clean dry area.
• Inspect system for damage and replace it if damaged.
Remove any foreign materials, solids and liquids. Keep
clean by using a detergent and water solution.
