Carefully reconnect the Gas Valve wiring harness plug
to the circuit board.
Slide the circuit board into its proper position and secure
using the two screws.
Open the shutoff valves on both the hot-water and cold-
water lines.
Fill the tank with water.
Reconnect the gas line.
Reconnect the electrical power to the water heater.
Open the shutoff valve on the gas supply line to the
water heater.
Use a approved water and soap solution to check the for
gas leaks. Repair as required.
Reassemble the front cover of the Heat Engine.
Close and lock the door.
Restart the water heater following the “Lighting
Instructions” found in the Operating Manual. 7.
