9. Setting a Time Delay
Press the TONE button until the tone
that you would like to use plays. Each
time you press the TONE button, the
selection changes and a two (2) second
sample of the tone is played. There are
5 tones to choose from. The last sample
played is the tone selected for use.
Press the VOLUME button to scroll
through the volume selections. Each
time you press the VOLUME button, the
selection changes and a two (2) second
sample of the volume is played. Continue
pressing the VOLUME button until you
hear the desired volume setting. The
last sample heard will be the volume
selected for use.
Move the delay switch to 0, 1 or 2
to change the time delay.
10. Record a Message
The green light for Voice and Tone, Tone, Voice or the
red light for HOLD/SUSPEND must be flashing. Press
and hold down the RECORD button. Wait for the beep
before you begin speaking. Speak in a normal voice into
the microphone aperture labeled “MIC” on the top front
of the case. The recording will stop when you release the
button or when you have exceeded 10 seconds. You will
hear a second beep if you have exceeded the 10 second
time limit. This recorded message will play whenever a
voice mode is selected. The louder you speak into the
microphone, the louder the voice playback.

After set up, ALWAYS test the alarm with the sensor before leaving the patient unattended. DO NOT use any alarm that does not
sound each time it is activated.
