Initializing Push to Talk Service
1. From the Idle screen, press the PTT key and Go to Step
3.
Alternatively, in Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to
access menu mode.
2. Highlight PTT and press the Select soft key or the
key. The PTT Setup screen appears in the display. You
will be asked if you want to initialize PTT.
3. Press the Yes soft key to initialize PTT.
Alternatively, press the No soft key to return to main
menu.
Note: PTT charges will apply.
4. Enter a name (up to 20 characters) in the Set Subscriber
Name field and press the OK soft key or the key.
5. A series of pop-ups appear in the display, informing you
that initialization has begun. Initialization can take
several minutes.
6. When initialization is complete a pop-up appears in the
display to notify you that initialization is complete and
PTT is ready for use. The
icon appears on the display
screen.
