ⅷ Entry Mode—Lets you compose text messages made up of
T9 word or alphabet.
ⅷ Signature—Create a signature, which appears at the bottom
of all outgoing messages.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired sub-
menu. Press the key to enter the sub-menu and
adjust the selected message settings.
Message Alerts
1. In standby mode, press the key, then press (for
Messages), (for Message Setting), and Msg
Alert. Press to enter the sub-menu and adjust
settings. The following sub-menus appear in the display:

Volume/Vibrate—Lets you set the default volume for
message alerts.
ⅷ Ringer Type—Lets you assign ringer types and melody tones
for message alerts.
ⅷ
Reminder—Lets you select the number of times you would
like to be reminded that you have a message.
ⅷ Alert On Call—Lets you choose whether or not your phone
beeps during a call when you receive a new message or when
an alarm time is reached.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired sub-
menu, then press the key to enter the sub-menu and
adjust settings.
