Important!: You should be in a quiet room when performing the Adapt Digits procedure.

The phone displays a series of digits and promts for you to say the digits

out loud and in a clear tone. Continue until the instructions stop
(approximately 60 seconds).

7.

Press the Back soft key or the

key to return to Idle mode.

Note: To reset digit dialing to factory default settings, see "Reset settings" on page 128.

Reset Digits

To reset digits perform the following:

1.

In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.

2.

Select Fun & Apps and press the Select soft key or the

key.

3.

Highlight Voice recognition and press the Select soft key or the

key.

4.

At the voice prompt, press the Settings soft key, select Digit dialing and

press the Select soft key or the

key.

5.

Select Reset digits and press the Select soft key or the

key.

Sound

This options allows you to determine which text, names or numbers are spoken
through the speaker or headset.

1.

In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.

2.

Select Fun & Apps and press the Select soft key or the

key.

3.

Highlight Voice recognition and press the Select soft key or the

key.

4.

At the voice prompt, press the Settings soft key, select Sound and press

the Select soft key or the

key.

Select one of the following options:

• Prompts: enables or disables audio prompts.
• Digits: enables or disables audio digit playback.
• Names: enables or disables audio name playback.
• Name settings: Lets you adjust the speed and volume of your phone’s audio

name playback.

• Speakerphone: enables or disables voice recognition through the

speakerphone.

2.

Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired setting.

3.

Press the OK soft key, Select key or

key to accept the new setting.
