Message Tone

This menu specifies how the phone informs you of a new
message.
SMS Tone (Menu 3.5.1)7
The following options are available to alert you to new
SMS messages:
• Off: the phone does not use the SMS tone.
• Light Only: the service light flashes.
• Vibration: the phone vibrates.
• Single Beep: the phone beeps once.
• SMS Tone: the phone uses one of several SMS tones.
SMS-CB Tone (Menu 3.5.2)*
The following options are available to alert you to new
cell broadcast (CB) messages:
• Off: the phone does not use the CB tone.
• Light Only: the service light flashes.
• Vibration: the phone vibrates.
• Single Beep: the phone beeps once.
• SMS-CB Tone: the phone uses one of several CB tones.
