• System select: Change the roaming mode for CDMA networks.

Cricket only: Restrict your phone to your home network’s coverage
area. When outside the coverage area, your phone will not roam, and
call functions and other wireless features will not be available.

Automatic: Allow your phone to automatically acquire service based on
default settings, using

your Wireless Provider’s

network and the

networks of roaming partners.

Call settings

To access the Call settings menu:

From the Settings menu, touch Call settings.

North American dialing

When enabled, this setting replaces + with the International
dialing code except +1.

From the Settings menu, touch Call settings.

2.

Touch North American dialing to add a checkmark and
activate the feature.

International dialing

This setting allows you to change the international dialing prefix
that is used to make international calls.

1.

From the Settings menu, touch Call settings.

2.

Touch North American dialing to remove the checkmark.

3.

Touch International dialing.

4.

Enter the international dialing prefix you want to use. The
default is 011.

5.

Touch OK.

Auto Retry

When enabled, your phone will automatically re-attempt a call
when it encounters a network busy signal.

1.

From the Settings menu, touch Call settings.

2.

Touch Auto retry to enable or disable automatic call retry.
When enabled, a check mark appears in the check box.

TTY

When enabled, TTY Mode allows your phone to work with a TTY
device attached to the Headset Jack. Before using your phone
with a TTY device, you’ll need to enable TTY Mode.

From the Settings menu, touch Call settings

TTY.

2.

At the TTY prompt, touch Yes to continue.

3.

Touch TTY Off, TTY HCO (TTY + Hear), TTY VCO (TTY + Talk),
or TTY Full.
