8. Tab through the options using the Right and Left
Navigation keys to assign the Phone Book entry Note,
Group, Graphic, and Alert settings.
9. To use the entry options, press the Options soft key. The
following options are available:
• Send message : allows you to send a message to the
selected number.
• Assign speed dial : allows you to assign a speed dial
number to the phone number you entered. For more
information, see "Speed dialing" on page 60.
• Edit number : allows you to edit the number.
• Edit name : allows you to edit the name.
• Delete entry : allows you to delete the name and number
from Phone Book. You are asked to confirm that you wish to
delete the name and number by pressing the
Yes soft key.
• Copy to SIM : allows you to copy the number to your SIM
card.
10. To return to the Idle screen, press the key.
Storing a Number in the SIM Memory
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu
mode.
2. Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the Phone Book
icon. Press the Select soft key or the key to enter
your Phone Book.
3. Scroll to New entry by pressing the Up or Down key and
press the Select soft key or the key.
4. Select the SIM memory location, by pressing the Up or
Down key and press the Select soft key or the key.
