ⅷ Erase contacts information from a lost device. If your
device is lost or stolen, you can use Sprint Mobile
Sync to remotely remove all the contacts information.
You can then send the information to your
replacement device.
ⅷ Import and export contacts with online address
books. Import or export contacts information from or
to your Outlook or other compatible database.
Activating Sprint Mobile Sync
To activate Sprint Mobile Sync:
ᮣ Press and touch Main ( ) > Settings > Mobile
Sync . You are notified that the service will take a
few minutes to activate.
Accessing Sprint Mobile Sync Online
1. Sign on to your My Sprint page at www.sprint.com .
2. Click My Online Tools > Sprint Mobile Sync .
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to add, edit, and
manage all of your contact information.
Note You can transfer all of your contacts from your old
phone to your new Samsung Instinct HD. See
“Transferring Your Contacts” on page 100.
