Sending Messages

Tap Text Messages.

Tap the Menu soft key and tap New.

Enter the phone number or email addresses of up to ten recipient(s) in the

To field. Press the Function key

twice to enter alphanumeric values.

Use the QWERTY keyboard to place a semicolon between numbers, if there is

more than one recipient.

6.

Tap the Text field and use your QWERTY keyboard to enter the content of

your message.

7.

Tap the Menu soft key and tap Message Options.

8.

To ensure that your message was delivered to the intended recipients, tap

the check box next to Request message delivery notification.

9.

Select the Priority for the message.

10.

To attach a call back number to the message, tap the check box next to

Send a callback number.

11.

Tap

to save your changes and return to the previous screen.

12.

Tap the Send soft key to transmit your message to the selected recipients.

Note: There is a 160-character limit for text messages. The character limit applies to messages sent using

the Text Messaging account only. If you send a text message with more than 160 characters, the
message is truncated after the first 160 characters and the remaining characters are then sent in
consecutive messages until the entire message text has been sent. Charges apply in accordance
with the sender's and the recipient's calling plans.

Creating and Sending Picture/Video Messages

1.

From the Today screen, tap Start

located in the upper left corner of

the screen.

2.

Tap Messaging

to reveal the Messaging screen.

3.

Tap MMS.

4.

Tap the Menu soft key and tap New. The MMS screen is then displayed.

5.

Enter the phone number or email address of up to ten recipient(s) in the To

field. Press the Function key

twice to enter numbers from the

keypad.

Use the virtual QWERTY keyboard to place a semicolon between numbers, if

there is more than one recipient.

6.

At any point during the creation of the message, tap the Menu soft key and

tap MMS Options to see additional options.

7.

Tap the Subject field and enter the subject of your message.
