Recycle Bin
You can activate the [Recycle Bin]
function or restore photos saved in the
recycle bin. By turning on this function,
you can temporarily save photos up to
a total 10MB capacity. You can also
restore photos from the recycle bin.
– Sub menus
[Off]: Do not want to use the Recycle Bin function.
[On]: Deleted photos are saved in the Recycle folder.
[Recycle Folder]: You can restore the deleted photos from the Recycle
folder.
z The Recycle Bin function only works with photos.
z When you delete all fi les at once, the fi les are not saved in the
Recycle Bin. When the Recycle bin is full of space, it removes
photos in sequence from the fi rst deleted photo.
z Although you turn off the Recycle function, the Recycle bin still
keeps the photos.
z When you format the built-in/external memory, all photos in the
Recycle Bin are deleted.
File name
This function allows the user to select the
fi le naming format.
File name Description
Reset
After using the reset function, the next fi le name will be set
from 0001 even after formatting, deleting all or inserting a
new memory card.
Series
New fi les are named using numbers that follow the previous
sequence, even when a new memory card is used, or after
formatting, or after deleting all pictures.
z The fi rst stored folder name is 100SSCAM, and the fi rst fi le
name is SDC10001.
z File names are assigned sequentially from SDC10001 
SDC10002  ~  SDC19999.
z The folder number is assigned sequentially from 100 to 999 as
follows: 100SSCAM
 101SSCAM  ~  999SSCAM.
z Maximum numbers of fi les in a folder are 9999.
z The fi les used with the memory card conform to the DCF
(Design rule for Camera File systems) format. If you change
the image fi le name, the image may not play back.
