5. Select a VPN type from the Type drop-down menu.
6. Enter the Server address and any other required fields
that are dependent upon the Type you entered
previously.
7. Touch the Show advanced options check box to display
additional VPN options.
8. Touch Save to save your VPN settings.
Adding an IPsec VPN
1. From the Settings screen, touch
Connections
Connections ➔
More networks ➔ VPN.
2. Touch Advanced IPsec VPN.
3. Touch Add VPN Connection.
4. Enter a password, confirm the password, and
touch OK.
5. Enter a name for the VPN connection in the
VPN connection name field.
6. Select a IPsec connection type from the drop-down
menu.
7. Enter any other required information.
8. Touch Show advanced options to display additional VPN
options.
9. Touch Save to save your VPN settings.
NFC
Use NFC (Near Field Communication) to share information
between your phone and another NFC device by touching the
devices together, typically back-to-back. This is used for
applications such as Android Beam and S Beam.
To activate NFC:
1. From the Settings screen, touch
Connections
Connections
➔ NFC.
The NFC screen displays.
2. Touch the OFF/ON button at the top of the screen to turn
NFC ON .
Note: NFC must be turned on to use Android Beam or S Beam.
