Section 11: Changing Your Settings
This section explains the sound and phone settings for your phone. It includes such settings as: sounds, display,
security, memory, and any extra settings associated with your phone.
myFaves Settings
myFaves Settings appears only if you subscribe to this service. From this menu you can modify the myFaves display,
menu style, icons, apply skins to the display, and refresh your myFaves contacts.
ᮣ From Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ myFaves Settings.
Personalize
Using this menu you can personalize the Sound, Display, Phone, Language, Greeting message, Time and Date, and
manage Memory settings.
Sound profiles
You can customize various sound settings.
ᮣ From Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Personalize ➔ Sound profiles and press to save your selection.
The following options display:
• Normal: the phone’s incoming Alert Type is set to melody. Press Options to change the alert type for calls and messages, and
set tones for other phone functions.
• Silent: the speaker is muted.
• Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not play any other sound or melody.
• Driving: the speaker is activated and launches the currently selected ringtone or melody when the associated notification is
received.
• Outdoor: the speaker is activated, the volume settings are raised to their highest levels, and any currently active ringtones or
melodies are activated.
Display settings
In this menu, you can change various settings for the display or backlight.
