Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot Connecting to Mobile Hotspot from Other
Devices
Use this option to share your phones’s mobile data
connection with a Mobile Hotspot or USB tethering.
1. Activate Wi-Fi on the device that wants to connect to
your phone. Mobile Hotspot
2. Find [Galaxy_Note_II_xxxx] in the Wi-Fi network list
and connect to it. xxxx will be four randomly generated
digits that appear when you set up a Mobile Hotspot on
your device.
Note: To enable Mobile Hotspot on your phone, dial 611 or go
to att.com/mywireless to set up the service.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔
The connected device can now use internet through
your Mobile Hotspot.

Note: Activating Wi-Fi and connecting to your phone will be

2. Touch the OFF/ON button at the top of the screen to
turn Mobile Hotspot ON .
Note: When enabled, the Mobile Hotspot icon displays in
the Status Bar.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to use Mobile Hotspot.
