Monarch ® Ribbons for Zebra
and Other Printers
Resin Ribbon
Best suited for: Harsh outdoor applications or other
applications requiring superior durability, chemical
exposure or highly abrasive conditions. Primarily used
on highly durable coated polyester or polyamide films.
Standard Wax Ribbon
Best suited for: Short-lived applications with only light
label/tag contact during handling; long-term durability
not required. Primarily used on coated and uncoated
label and tag stocks and coated polyethylene and
polypropylene synthetic film.
Wax
For use with some models of printer brands shown below
Resin
For use with some models of printer brands shown below
Wax/Resin Ribbon
Best suited for: Outdoor and other demanding applications
requiring more durable images, incidental chemical
exposure, multiple scans or other rough handling situations.
Recommended for use with coated labels and tags, coated
and uncoated polyethylene and polypropylene films, and
coated Tyvek.
