Voicemail Notification
Your phone uses these methods to alert you to new
voicemail:
• By playing the default notifications tone.
• By displaying the Voicemail icon in the Status
bar, and on Notifications.
Text Messaging (SMS)
With Text Messaging (SMS), you can send and receive
text messages between your phone and another
messaging-ready phone.
Compose Text Messages
Quickly compose and sent text messages on your
phone.
1. Press , and then tap Messaging .
2. Tap New message .
3. Tap Enter recipient and enter a name, phone
number or email address, or tap to add
recipients from Contacts. As you enter characters,
matching contacts appear. Touch a contact to add
it to the list.
4. Tap Enter message , then enter the message.
5. Tap to send the message.
