Management

Batteries have limited shelf life and must be put into service in a timely manner. The chart
below provides general storage guidelines and illustrates the relationship between capacity
retention and storage temperature over time. Consult battery documentation for product
specifi c information.

No supplementary charge required.
(Carry out supplementary battery
charge before use if 100% capacity is
required).

Supplementary charge required before
use. This charge will help recover the
capacity and should be made as early
as possible.

Supplementary charge may often fail
to recover the capacity. The battery
should never be left standing till this
state is reached.
