RMC 7189

1U Rackmount System

5-10 Onboard Indicators

LAN1/2 LEDs

The Ethernet ports (located beside the VGA port) have
two LEDs. On each port, one LED indicates activity
while the other LED may be green, amber or off to
indicate the speed of the connection. See the table on
the right for the indication associated with the connec-
tion speed LED.

IPMI Dedicated LAN LEDs

In addition to LAN1/LAN2, a dedicated IPMI LAN port
is also provided on the motherboard. The yellow LED
indicates activity, while the green LED indicates the
speed of the connection. See the table at right for
more information.

LE1

An Onboard Power LED is located at LE1 on the
serverboard. When this LED is on, the system is on.
Be sure to turn off the system and unplug the
power cord before removing or install- ing compo-
nents. See the tables at right for more information.

LE2
The LE2 LED (located under SW1) is the UID indicator
LED. LE2 illuminates when UID is initiated either by
the UID button or via IPMI. If initiated a second time,
LE2 will turn off. When the LED blinks blue it means
the signal was initiated via IPMI. If blue continuously it
means the UID button initiated it.
