Chapter 15
RADIUS Authentication Protocol
This chapter explains how to configure the RADIUS client on the switch.
You can use the RADIUS client with 802.1x port-based network access
control to control who can forward packets through the switch. This
chapter contains the following sections:

Note
To activate the RADIUS feature, you must also configure the 802.1x
port-network access control feature. See Chapter 14, “802.1x Port-
based Network Access Control” on page 165.

To permanently save your new settings or any changes to the
configuration file, select Save Configuration to Flash from the main
menu on the left side of the page.
