5.2 WAN
Connection
On the other side of the Wireless ADSL Router is where your Wide Area Network (WAN)
connection; also referred to as a broadband connection. This WAN connection is different for
every WAN supplier. Most of the configurations you will perform will be in this area Local Area
Network Connection(s).
5.2.1 Status
Status will display all the relevant information regarding your Internet Connection, it will display
the type of protocol used, the WAN IP address, the connection state, the duration and if it is
Disconnected the reason will be displayed. The “Disconnect” button on the right-hand side is for
terminating the connection from the Internet.
