1 Illuminates red when transmitting

The FR-230 is equipped with an LED display to indicate its
settings and functions. Pressing the P (Push-to-Talk), monitor,
function select or call buttons, will illuminate the display. The dis-
play will remain lit for 5 seconds after any of these buttons is
pressed.
