Installing the Switch in a Rack
Perform the following procedure to install the switch in a standard
19-inch rack. If you are not installing the switch in a rack, go to the next
procedure:
1. Attach a bracket to one side of the switch using the bracketmounting
screws that came with the switch. See Figure 7.

2. Install the second rackmounting bracket on the other side of the
switch using the remaining bracketmounting screws.
3. Mount the switch in the 19-inch rack using the four rackmounting
screws.
Attaching the Rubber Feet
To use the switch as a desktop unit, perform the following procedure to
attach the rubber feet to the bottom of the switch:
1. Place the unit upside down on a level, secure surface.
2. Attach the four rubber feet to the bottom of the switch.
