6.3.14. WAN IP address setup
The WAN IP Address and Compression Setup screen allows the user to configure the WAN
IP address of the OmniConnect access device. By default, the OmniConnect receives a WAN
IP address from the ISP during the PPP negotiation process. This may be prevented by
assigning the WAN IP address manually using this screen. Check the Disable ISP assigning
WAN IP address button and enter a WAN IP address.
The WAN IP Address and Compression Setup screen also allows the user to configure the
Stac Compression. By default, the Stac Compression is disabled. Check the Enable Stac
Compression to enable the Stac Compression.
