SET SNMP COMMUNITY-STRING
Syntax
set snmp getcommunity=string|setcommunity=string|
trapcommunity=string
Parameters
getcommunity Specifies the Get community string on the
multiplexer. The default is public.
setcommunity Specifies the Set community string on the
multiplexer. The default is private.
trapcommunity Specifies the Trap community string on the
multiplexer. The default is public.
Description
This command modifies the Get, Set and Trap community strings on the
management module. To view the community strings, refer to the
SHOW SNMP command.
Example
The following command changes the Get community string to ”silver24”
and the Set community string to “gold” on the multiplexer:
set snmp getcommunity=silver24 setcommunity=gold
The following command changes the Trap community string to “spring”:
set snmp trapcommunity=spring
