Keypad Data
The keypad sends a 26-bit data stream when a proper PIN number (1-65,534) is entered;
followed by the # key, see Table 1. The PIN number will appear as a binary number in the
X field. The A field is 000, however, custom site code PINpads are available on request.
All data is transmitted first as Most Significant Bit (MSB).

Even Parity Field
Odd Parity Field
The keypad will transmit 16 “ones” in the X Field (Bits 10-25) when any of the following
occurs:
•
The # key is pressed with no preceding data
•
Any number of zeros followed by the # key
•
Any number greater than 65,534 is pressed prior to the # key
The equipment to which the keypad is attached should be configured to recognize 16
“ones” in the X field (X=65,535) as an incorrect “Error” code.
