What should I do if I cannot use the GPS function?
❑ Make sure the WIRELESS switch is on.
❑ Make sure the switch next to GPS is set to On in the VAIO Smart Network window.
❑ If you have disabled the wireless devices in the BIOS setup screen, you cannot use the GPS function. To enable the
devices, follow the steps in Disabling Built-in Devices
.
What should I do if I cannot obtain location information or if the current location obtained
is incorrect?
❑ Make sure the WIRELESS switch is on.
❑ Make sure the switch next to Location Services or Wi-Fi is set to On in the VAIO Smart Network window.
❑ To successfully obtain location information, your current location must be free of obstacles. Move around to find an
optimum location for receiving GPS information.
