Eco Mode

Sets the length of time until the screen goes dark and the time until the camera turns off.

If you do not operate the camera for a certain period of time while the power is on using the battery pack, the screen goes

dark and the camera later turns off automatically to prevent wearing down the battery pack (Auto power-off function).

Saves battery power better than when set to [Standard].

If the camera is not operated for a certain period of time, the power

turns off automatically. In shooting mode, the screen automatically

goes dark before the power turns off.

Standard

If the camera is not operated for a certain period of time, the power

turns off automatically. In shooting mode, the screen automatically

goes dark before the power turns off.

It takes longer before the power turns off than when set to [Max].

Off

Does not use the Auto power-off function.

Note

The camera does not enter Eco mode under conditions such as during a slideshow, when recording movies or when

the camera is connected to a computer.
