Flash Comp.

Adjusts the amount of flash light. Separately to the exposure compensation, flash compensation
changes the amount of flash light to change the exposure for the main subject within the range of flash
light.

Adjusting the value to the + side increases the flash level and to the – side decreases the flash
level.

What is the difference between exposure compensation and flash

compensation?
Exposure compensation changes the amount of flash light along with the change of the shutter speed,
aperture, and ISO (when [ISO] is set to [ISO AUTO]). Flash compensation changes the amount of flash
light only.
