Saving videos after converting format
You can convert the format of video and audio taken with your camcorder to more versatile format.

Turn on the computer.

Double-click [ ] (Picture Motion Browser) on the desktop.
[Picture Motion Browser] starts up.

Click the video you want to convert in the Folder view or Calendar view. <Details>
You can select two or more videos.

Select [Convert to MPEG-2 and Save] in the [Manipulate] menu.
The Convert to MPEG-2 and Save window is displayed.

Specify where to save the video file.
You can save the video file with a different file name from that of the original video file.
Tips
z When the video format is AVCHD 1080i, it can be converted to MPEG-2 with the video conversion settings. The converted
video can be used with the program which supports MPEG-2 format.
z When the audio format of the video is Dolby Digital, you can select whether to convert the audio format to MPEG audio
format with the audio conversion settings. The converted video can be used with the program which supports MPEG
Audio format.
