Preparing the Reader
Install the supplied battery

Pull out the media slot cover , push portion  to slide the
battery cover on the rear to the left and remove it , then
insert the supplied battery pack with the label side facing up,
and the connectors aligned

Place the battery cover so that all the tabs are inserted into
their slots
, slide the battery cover to the right until it clicks
, then attach the media slot cover .

Make sure that there is no gap around the edge of the Reader
when closed.
Getting Started
 Touch screen
Provides simple commands
by touching the screen.
 OPTIONS button
Displays the option menu.
 (Size) button
Allows you to view in 6 text
sizes.
 (Home) button
Displays the “Home” menu.
 < > (Page Turn) buttons
Turns the page.
 RESET button
 WIRELESS switch


Connects the supplied AC
adapter for Reader (AC-
S5220E).
  USB connector
 Stylus
Provides precise touch
screen operations.
 Charge/Busy indicator
Lights up red while charging.
 POWER switch
Navigation Controls
The Reader Daily Edition features an intuitive, easy-to-use touch
screen.
