When you make recording with the viewfinder only, pull out the viewfinder and close the LCD panel.
If the indicator on the viewfinder appear blurred, adjust the viewfinder lever located on the side of the
viewfinder (HDR-CX700/CX700V).
Data code during recording
The recording date, time and condition , and coordinates (HDR-CX560V/CX700V) are
recorded automatically on the recording media. They are not displayed during recording.
However, you can check them as [Data Code] during playback. To display them, touch
(MENU)  [Setup]  [ (Playback Settings)]  [Data Code]  a desired setting 
.
Shooting photos
When disappears, the photo is recorded.

Press MODE to turn on the (Photo) lamp.
The LCD screen display switches for photo recording mode.

