必要です。

とのサポートページより、「“メモリースティック
PRO ”対応システムソフトウェア アップデートプ
ログラム」をダウンロードして、お使いのクリエにインストールしてください。

For customers using PEG-NX60/NX70V/TG50/NZ90
If you use “Memory Stick” media with PEG-NX60/NX70V, or “Memory Stick PRO” media
with PEG-NX60/NX70V/TG50/NZ90, you need to update the system software of your
CLIÉ handheld.
In either case, "Memory Stick" or "Memory Stick PRO" media, you need to download the
system software update program for “Memory Stick PRO” media for your CLIÉ handheld
model from the "Drivers and Updates" section on the Sony CLIÉ handheld support page
listed below. Then, install the downloaded program to your CLIÉ handheld.
