Press FOOTBALL while watching a
football match broadcast.
You can experience a feeling of presence in
the stadium when watching the football
match broadcast.
• [Football : Narration On]: You can enjoy
an immersive feeling of being in a
football stadium through enhanced
stadium cheers.
• [Football : Narration Off]: You can enjoy
a more immersive feeling of being in a
football stadium by minimizing the
volume level of narration in addition to
the enhancement of cheers.
• [Football Off]: The football mode is
turned off.
• We recommend you to select the football mode
when watching a football match broadcast.
• If you hear unnatural sound in the content when
[Football : Narration Off] is selected,
[Football : Narration On] is recommended.
• The football mode will be turned off when you
turn off the system.
• This feature does not support monaural sound.
• You can also select the football mode from the
option menu.
• If 5.1 channel audio stream is available, we
recommend you to select it on your TV or set-
top box.
Playing a Disc
For playable discs, see “Playable Discs”
(page 76).

Switch the input selector on
your TV so that the signal from
the system appears on your TV
screen.

Press Z, and place a disc on the
disc compartment until it clicks.

Press Z to close the disc lid.
Playback starts.
If playback does not start
automatically, select
in the
[Video], [Music], or
[Photo] category, and press .
