Notes

• There is no guarantee that the unit can use

all memory cards.

• The unit supports “Memory Stick” and

Microdrives of up to 4 GB. Operation with
“Memory Stick PRO” or Microdrives of
higher capacities is not guaranteed.

• Do not insert any media or devices into the

unit, other than those listed above.

About the “Memory Stick”

“Memory Stick” is a compact-size IC
recording medium with a large
capacity. It has been designed not only
for exchanging/sharing digital data
among “Memory Stick” compliant
products, but also for serving as an
insertable/removable external storage
medium that can save data.

What is MagicGate?
“MagicGate” is the general name of a
copyright protection technology
developed by Sony.

Notes on using “Memory Stick”
media
• If you set Write-Protect switch

“LOCK”, data cannot be recorded,
edited, or erased.

• Do not remove “Memory Stick”

while data is being read or written.

• Data may be damaged if:

– You remove “Memory Stick” or turn off the

power of the product while data is being
read or written.
