Setup items and settings

To adjust settings for the display and operation functions of the player, select “Setting” on the Main
Menu screen.

My Playlist

The player can store up to five playlists.

This setting specifies which is currently active.

Display Setting

The following display-related settings can be adjusted.

Backlight setting

Sets the time delay for automatically turning off the display backlight
when no operation is carried out. You can also set the backlight to be
“Always ON” or “Always OFF”.

Sound Setting

The following sound-related settings can be adjusted.

Beep

Selects whether a sound is heard when the G-sense pad and the remote
control are pressed.

AVLS

When this is set to ON, loud sounds above a certain threshold level are
automatically reduced in volume. This lets you listen to music at an
agreeable volume while reducing the risk of sound leakage, possible
hearing damage, and danger from masking of external sounds.

Clock Setting

The following time-related settings can be adjusted.

• Clock setting

Sets the date and time shown on the display. You can also select 24h
or 12h for the time display.

• Format

Changes the order in which the year, month, and day appear.

Timer Setting

You can select one of the following functions.
• Power off

Automatically puts the player into power off mode after a certain
amount of time.

• Playback start

Automatically starts audio playback at a pre-selected time or after a
set time interval.

• Beep

Automatically plays a beep tone at a pre-selected time or after a set
time interval.

• Off

All alarm-related functions are turned off.
