3 Turning the camera on/setting the clock

Open the LCD panel to turn the power on.

Open the LCD panel up to a 90 degrees angle from the camera (1), then rotate it to the desired angle
(2).

You can also turn the power on by pressing ON/OFF button.
• If you rotate the LCD panel 180 degrees, you can close the LCD panel with the LCD screen facing

out. This is convenient during playback operations.

Set the clock with the control button.

Select the date display format with v/V, then press z.

Select each item with b/B and set the numeric value with v/V.

Select [OK] with B, then press z.

To turn the power off

Press ON/OFF button.

• You can also turn the power off by closing the LCD panel.

[ To change the date and time

Press MENU and select [Clock Set] in

(Setup 2) (page 21).

[ To change the language

Press MENU and select [

Language] in

(Setup 1) (page 21).

You can turn off the operation beeps by selecting [Beep] in

(Setup 1) (page 21).
