Product Description

Laser+

®

C (K31A) is a unique copolymer particularly suited for use in both the BCF (bulk continuous

filament) production of fibers and custom PET container applications where clarity and neutral color are
desired. It is a low intrinsic viscosity (IV) product that gives the end user clarity and offers excellent
processing and consistency

Typical Properties

The polymer properties are designed for optimized filament extrusion, fiber spinning and performance.
Bi-orientation of Laser+

®

C (K31A) by injection/stretch blow molding provides optimal barrier and

mechanical properties, including good vacuum performance. It performs well in BCF and single- and
two-stage processes used in the manufacturing of PET containers.

Certification

Laser+

®

C (K31A) is ideally suited for food packaging applications and is considered in compliance with

the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Contact Notification (FCN) 000635 for PET polymers.
