User Operations

Connecting to a PC
The EasyUSB AudioBRIDGE is connected to the PC with a simple USB cable. Once connected, the PC’s
operating system will recognize the AudioBRIDGE as a USB sound device. The sound device will be identified
as an echo canceling speakerphone (or non-echo canceling speakerphone) with one playback channel (speaker)
and one recording channel (microphone). The AudioBRIDGE is designed as a USB Audio Class (UAC) device.
There are no requirements for pesky custom drivers on the Host PC for operations.

To use the AudioBRIDGE as the PC sound device, the user will be required to select it as the default audio
device within the sound manager in the operating system. The example below shows the selection process for a
PC using Windows 7.

STEP 1: Go to the Windows Control Panel and select the Sound icon
