6. ADJUSTMENT

1. Insert the battery in the battery

compartment (5) in the base of the
scales.

2. To weigh yourself, stand on the scales,

select the unit of measurement (kg or lb)
with the kg/lb selector button (6).

3. If you wish to use the scales in

calculation and analysis mode, follow
the instructions in point 7.

4. Place the scales on a hard, flat surface

(do not place them on a carpet). To
guarantee maximum accuracy and
repeatability of the readings, always
weigh yourself on the scales in the
same place.

7. FUNCTIONING

PROGRAMMING IN CALCULATION AND
ANALYSIS MODE
Personal data can be entered for each digit
(from 1 to 12), i.e. for up to 12 different
people. To programme the scales, proceed
as follows:

NOTE: first read the instructions, as the
display will switch off after 30 seconds if it
is not changed.

I. To switch on the scales, press “Set”

(3). When the number beside the icon
begins to flash, you can select the
desired memory setting (c) by moving
up and down with the ▲ and ▼ buttons
(2). Then press “Set” (3) to confirm the
data.

II. The next parameter to be entered is sex

(a-b). When the symbol starts to flash,
use the ▲ and ▼ buttons (3) to select
male or female. Then press “Set” (3) to
confirm the data.

III. Another number will then begin to flash,

indicating the person’s height (d). Use
the ▲ and ▼ (2) buttons to select the
height. Then press “Set” (3) to confirm
the data.

IV. The last data item is age (e). Enter your

age using the ▲ and ▼ buttons (2). Then
press “Set” (3) to confirm the data.

When you wish to weigh yourself:

1. If the scales are switched off, press

“Set” (3). The following will appear:

You do not need to enter your data each
time you switch on the scales in calculation
and analysis mode. Select the memory
position in which you have entered your
personal data using ▲ and ▼ (2), and wait
for the number to stop flashing.

The scales are ready when the following

appears on the display:

2. Step carefully onto the scales, barefoot

and with dry feet. Dry the weighing
surface for a better conductor effect.
Stand with your feet apart, aligned on
the scale on the two plates.
