INSTALLING THE LIGHT KIT

WARNING: Shut off the power supply before removing or replacing lamp. In handling of halogen bulb, care should be taken not to touch it with

your bare hands. Oil residue will shorten the life of the halogen bulb. If you accidentally come into contact, wipe thoroughly with a clean, lint-free,

cotton cloth. Allow the bulb to cool for 10 minutes before changing the bulb. Use light bulb in accordance with the fan's specification. DO NOT

EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING.
ATTENTION: The Energy Policy Act of 2005 requires this fan to be equipped with a 190 watt limiting device. If lamping exceeds 190 watts, the

ceiling fan's light kit will shut off automatically.
Step 1. Install halogen bulb by screwing it clockwise into bulb socket. (Fig 18)
Step 2. (Fig. 18) Place the Light Kit over the bulb and against the bottom of the Motor Assembly. Be careful not to damage the bulb as you place the

bulb diffuser over it. Align the three alignment nuts from the Light Kit to the three keyed openings from the Motor Assembly, press the Light Kit

upwards at the same time you turn it clockwise until it locks in place.
NOTE; Follow the steps below if you decide to use the Switch Cup Cover instead of the Light Kit.
Step 3. (Fig. 19) Remove the two screws from the bulb socket, unplug the two wires from the bulb socket and remove it from the Motor Assembly.

Save bulb socket, screws and Light Kit for later use if desired.

keyed openings from the Motor Assembly, press the Switch Cup Cover upwards at the same time you turn it clockwise until it locks in place.
